To make it much better for getting back to running around (Sonic Mania's version of the Hammerdrop did this much better), and having a much larger damage radius around the player when the hammerdrop lands would be more useful against enemies, spikes, and some bosses. It should honestly be changed to have a fair amount of horizontal drift while falling, making the bounce after hitting the ground smaller Gameplay besides the occasional usage of breaking through a floor. With practically no horizontal drift after starting the move and having an awkward bounce once you land you really have a move that has no flow towards Walljumping/Clinging should be changed to where you simply have to brush up against a wall and then it will automatically cling you to the wall after that simply pressing jump will make you jump off the wall, as well it would be nice to have some actual consistency on what surfaces you can actually use to walljump off of, As there is no rhyme or reason as to what wall or surface will allow you to walljump off of.Ģ: The Hammerdrop in its current state isn't that great. It's a bit of a struggle to really get it to work as having to hold jump before you brush up against a wall is not really intuitive considering you might accidentally trigger a Hammerdrop and plummet to your doom, Not being able to tell if the walljump will even work on any given wall doesn't help either. And even if the original poster of this mod wont see this post, its still useful information for anybody out there looking to make some edits to this character in the future.ġ: Walljumping is too janky at the moment. So I've played with this mod for awhile at this point and while this is a very good recreation of the Armadillo we love to rarely ever play as, it's very apparent that this mod is still unfinished with alot of flaws kicking about. As a straight port, it's gets the job done, but I do really think adjusting Hammer Drop and Wall Kick would work wonders for this Addon. As is, just like Hammer Drop, there aren't that many situations where you'd really want to use Wall Kick, or even could use it effectively. Reincorporating his ability to jump upwards could give Wall Kick a bit more versatility, since he won't absolutely need another wall to get the most out of Wall Kick. However, what feels kind of odd to be left out is that Mighty doesn't have the option to jump straight up like he could in Knuckles Chaotix. * Wall Kick, like Hammer Drop, works *mostly* as expected. That way, it still has the utility as something that allows him to stop on a dime if he needs to, but he also has the option to immediately get back to moving without having to slowly run back to top speed again. Two, give Mighty a Drop Dash that could be done after Hammer Drop. ![]() As is, Mighty can hardly move during the bounce which again, does not feel great. There's two things I would suggest to make Hammer Drop more versatile: One, allow the bounce to build momentum. This results in Mighty not having that many interesting ways to traverse stages as fast as possible, since all he can really do is jump, and occasionally jump off walls. As is, it just completely halts his momentum, which is useful when you want to come to a complete stop, but not so much in most scenarios. * Hammer Drop works as expected, but it's not a fun move to use when trying to go fast. ![]() However, there's some small changes I've been meaning to suggest for a while that I think would make him even more fun to play. (Time to ramble like the Mighty fan I am-) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You can now buy 2N2222 in the TO-92 package on the site. As you can see the 2N3904 collector current is 200mA while the 2N2222 collector current is 600mA. But when we look at the collector current there is much difference between the two. 2N3906 PNP Transistor 40 V 0.2A 625mW (Silicon Epitaxial Planar / General Purpose BJT-PNP) 3-Pin Common Base TO-92 Package suitable for Through-Hole PCB. It has a Vce of 40V, Ic of 200 mA, and power. The author was the global business manager of the Discrete division of National Semiconductor in Silicon Valley in the late ’80s. The total device dissipation of both the transistors is also the same which is 625mW and the (fT) or transition frequency is also the same which is 300MHZ. The 2N3906 is a commonly used general purpose discrete small-signal PNP transistor in a plastic TO-92 case. Some vendors simply supply a 2N2222 (TO-92 package) and marked as 2N2222 instead of PN2222. 2N3904 has Ic rated limit of 200mA but theoretically, 2N3904 should be able to handle at least 600mA Ic.Īs the demand for 2N2222 (TO-18) has dropped significantly or the suppliers don’t want to make it anymore. PN2222 was then introduced with the TO-92 package to replace 2N2222 and with the specification of 600-800mA depending on vendors.Īs said before, the current handling is highly depending on the package itself. TO-18 package loses its competitiveness and popularity. TO-92 package has Pd of 1.5 W at 25 deg.C (Tc)ĢN2222 was designed to handling higher current up to 1000mA, but the manufacturing cost of the TO-18 package is much higher than the TO-92 plastic package.TO-18 package has Pd of 1.8 W at 25 deg.C (Tc).Power Dissipation, Pd = V x I = Vce(sat) x Ic The fundamental difference is the power handling or current (Ic) handling due to different package used. □ “EEVBlog” linkĢN2222 is in the TO-18 metal package and 2N3904 is in the TO-92 plastic package. I am thinking why is the 2N3904 so popular, why not just use 2N2222 all the time or even maybe a max=5A all the time? I know that the price can differ but it’s about a few cents and to home use, it does not kill the budget. You also use transistors that are next to each other on the reel. Suppose you build a differential pair from mmbt3904 (2N3904 surface mount equivalent) transistors with mmbt3906 (2N3906 surface mount equivalent) for a current mirror. Just a short and hopefully simple question. Typical Transistor Mismatch for 2N3904/2N3906. A 2N2222 can handle up to 5 times that amount since it can handle up to 1A (ampere) of current flow from the emitter to the collector to power on a load. Here are some popular comments from blogs.Ī 2N3904 can handle up to 200mA (milliamperes) of current flow from the emitter to the collector terminal. However, mixing those features with an X-Trans sensor and Fujifilm colors is what sets the XH2S apart. Those are features photographers could still find on flagships from Canon, Sony and Nikon. It’s packed with 40 fps electronic shutter, a no blackout viewfinder, subject detection autofocus, improved autofocus algorithms, and up to seven stops of image stabilization. The Fujifilm XH2s marks several major improvements for Fujifilm. I began this review with firmware version 1.01, but updated to 1.03 during the course of using the camera. I’m giving the Fujifilm XH2s five out of five stars and the Editor’s Choice Award. However, none of those alternatives have colors as lovely as the X-H2s (and I much prefer the X-H2s grip over the a7 IV). But, if sports and wildlife were my main focus, I’d still be more inclined to reach for the Canon EOS R7, the OM System OM-1, or the Sony a7 IV around the same price point. I would be ecstatic to add this to my kit. But, I don’t think the X-H2s is going to outshoot a Canon or Sony for sports.Īs a wedding photographer, I would definitely consider the X-H2s for it’s low light abilities, especially while knowing I could still be able to photograph my kids’ soccer games or my hobbyist wildlife photos with it. The autofocus upgrade was a much needed change for Fujifilm as well, and it works pretty good. Some photographers are going to miss those classically inspired dials. While the X-H2s has a comfortable design, the control scheme is quite different from Fujifilm’s other mirrorless bodies. It has faster autofocus and better high ISO quality compared to the higher resolution X-H2. But, it’s no slouch dabbling in sports or wildlife either. The XH2s mix of beautiful colors and fast low light autofocus make this camera most at home shooting events and portraits. While I wouldn’t name the XH2s as the best for sports or best for birding, it’s an excellent choice for the photographer who doesn’t conform to just one category. The mix of excellent images straight from the camera, comfortable ergonomics, and an updated autofocus system make it a great choice for multiple types of shoots. The Fujifilm X-H2s is a refreshingly solid camera that can shoot multiple genres with little need for editing. How does the camera’s smart autofocus features compare with other brands? Can the new stacked sensor deliver the same color science Fuji-tographers swear by? I spent a few weeks with the Fujifilm XH2s shooting portraits, landscapes, wildlife, low light and more to see how the new camera compares. What’s more, the viewfinder stays active the whole burst, without blackouts. That’s paired with an impressive 40 fps electronic shutter burst or a 15 fps mechanical burst, both with autofocus. The camera is Fujifilm’s first to offer intelligent object recognition for birds as well as a number of different vehicles. Besides reviving a flagship, the X-H2s brings a number of much-needed features to Fujifilm’s lineup. While the XH2 is Fujifilm’s high-resolution flagship, the XH2s has the better autofocus system with the lower pixel count that typically appeals to low light photographers. And with it comes an impressive list of features.Įditor’s Note: This post was updated in September 2022. With the Fujifilm XH2s and XH2, the series has finally regained a place worthy of its flagship title. Then suddenly, the Fujifilm XH2s came roaring back unlike any Fuji camera had before. Eclipsed by prettier and also stabilized bodies like the X-T4, more tech got into the newer cameras than Fuji could cram into the X-H1. With the X-H1 announced more than four years ago, Fujifilm’s H series cameras kind of fell out of their flagship status. ![]() ![]() ![]() I thought of things like robots, a homemade wheater station, or a talking toaster. Thanks for the testing and your feedback! ![]() I have all sorts of crazy, outlandish ideas I'd like to see the ReactOS team implement, but as of right now they should focus on just making it a solid, Windows-compatible OS. I've been dreaming for years of having a Windows-compatible operating system that I could take around with me on a USB and run on different computers, and since ReactOS is open source without Micro$oft's bullshit licensing model, I think this may actually be possible.Īnyway, enough rambling. Or, maybe you could even run applications in a self-contained bubble with all their own libraries and whatnot, kind of like a chroot jail on Linux.Īs far as memory management goes, I'm not sure how possible this is, but I'd like to see them adopt a more Linux-like model where the swapfile only gets touched whenever it is needed, and physical RAM is used as much as possible.įinally, I'd like to see support for LiveUSB persistence, possibly with a UEFI key lifted from Ubuntu so that you can run it on systems that have SecureBoot enabled. I'm thinking you could do it in such a way that each program you installed could have its own registry, and you'd be able restrict or allow access to certain things on a program by program basis. Inbuilt sandboxing would be another great thing to have in ReactOS, from both a security and stability standpoint. Heck, maybe a clever hacker could port WINE (aww, I made a lame pun □) and use it for running particularly troublesome apps. ![]() Now, I know the idea is to make it a Windows clone, and as such it will never be entirely *nix-ey, but a working *nix subsystem would kick ass and make it easier to port other open source programs to the OS. I think it would also be cool if they made it POSIX compliant as well, with support for things like the X Windows system. It would be cool if they could set it up so that things that merely use Win32 API functions can be handled natively, while the x86 emulation is used only for things that absolutely require it. It makes me wonder if maybe a full x86 emulator is in the works for things like the ARM version of the OS. I like the fact that it doesn't rely on V86 mode, and as such can be ported to platforms other than 32-bit x86. The one thing that REALLY impresses me about ReactOS however, is its NTVDM implementation. I honestly can't wait for the day where ReactOS can replace Windows for most users altogether, especially since M$ have been driving Windows into the ground with all the telemetry and forced updates and other stupid bullshit. It just goes to show how hard the ReactOS team have been working to make this a viable OS. In all seriousness though, that's quite a significant list of features. Though for the current desktop systems this is not a problem. Here is a recent article about their NTVDM, though it does not say about using DosBox code.Īlso not a word about the downside of full software emulation: slower. I should go and look at the sourcecode for that component to see what they've done. If memory serves, they modified DOSBox to serve as their OS's NTVDM replacement not too long ago. ![]() ![]() ![]() Many are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites, housing unique sculptures and murals in varying states of preservation.
